— Intro
KotCompass is a full-stack web application built for the Belgian student housing and rental market. Landlords in Belgium often manage multiple properties with little tooling — KotCompass was created to change that.
The frontend is built with Angular, the backend with Laravel and PHP, backed by a relational SQL database. The platform is currently in active development with new features being rolled out continuously.

- Design a clean, intuitive interface accessible to non-technical users
- Implement tenant management, maintenance tracking, and financial reporting
- Create a map-based property discovery experience for students looking for housing
KotCompass is currently in active development. The core platform is functional and being used in testing with a small group of landlords in the Genk area. The roadmap includes mobile app support and automated rent collection.
